SNAP IS INTRODUCING A NEW FEATURE CALLED MAP
Explore today that will alert and update users about what’s happening on their Snap Map. Snap says the travel and location updates will automatically appear on users’ Snap Maps when friends opt to share their location.
Scary New Feature
The feature is like something from Harry Potter !!
In June 2017, Snapchat added map feature to their app which instantly reminded me of the Harry Potter Films where they use the ‘fictional,’ map that is able to find anyone.
So I took a screenshot of the snap map featuring users sharing their location data blended the image with an old-time map (sepia tone map) that is reminiscent of the maps used in the Harry Potter movies.
In the film, characters must say the phrase “I solemnly swear I am up to no good,” which no doubt went through many people’s minds when I saw this feature.
